Raytheon Co. announced today a contract to increase the jamming capabilities and add a radio frequency data link to the Air Force’s Miniature Air Launched Decoy-Jammer (MALD-J). The MALD-J comes from an original project developed by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency in 1996, under the same acronym, minus the jamming capabilities (MALD).
